Once you?ve tried a static caravan holiday, you could find yourself converted, like many other holiday makers before you!
People often shy away from static caravan holidays, worried about lack of space or facilities, but anyone who has stayed in a static caravan recently will tell you that it?s an affordable, spacious and comfortable way to spend your holiday.
Why should you give it a try?
? Convenience ? static caravans are usually found on dedicated holiday parks, which are in an ideal location, with easy access to the beaches, shops and local attractions. This makes them a great base for a holiday ? you don?t need to drive long distances or worry about parking in order to get to popular attractions, and you can return to your caravan whenever you need to.
? Cost ? static caravans are cheaper to run and maintain than other holiday accommodation, and that means that their weekly rental price is usually lower. Compared to hotel rooms for a family, or the cost of a self catering holiday cottage, static caravans are surprisingly affordable and great value for money.
? Comfort ? if you imagine static caravans to be pokey and uncomfortable, then think again. Over the years, static caravans have adopted a range of fixtures and fittings that have turned them into a home-from-home. Separate bedroom and living space combines with fitted bathrooms and kitchens, mains drainage and hot and cold running water to provide a spacious, comfortable living environment.
With benefits like these, it?s easy to see why more people are choosing to book a static caravan for their holiday. A comfortable holiday at affordable prices, with everything you need close at hand is many people?s idea of the perfect holiday, and with your own caravan, you can have the flexibility and independence you want at a reasonable price. Larger caravan parks have on-site shops, restaurants and entertainment, offering you everything you need in a dedicated area and allowing you to really enjoy and explore the area.
Sherwood Caravans has been hiring static caravans to holiday makers for over 40 years. To find out more, visit our website by clicking on http://www.sherwoodcaravans.co.uk

How (and Why) to Roam Mexico in an RV or Van
Traveling in Mexico by RV led us to wonderful experiences we could only have had that way. Camping by a remote ferry landing on the Gulf of Mexico, deepening our immersion in the ancient ruins of El Tajín by spending the night in the parking lot, having brunch in our motorhome with a taxi driver in Xalapa, watching an informal rodeo by a restaurant in Chihuahua - these are some of our treasured memories.

My Rented Vacation - The RV Saga
My wife and I have a tradition of vacationing the month of January at a quaint little area in Florida. It is not on the beach where the high priced restaurants are located and where the crowds gather. We enjoy this quiet little RV park that is on the banks of a fishing lake located in central Florida. Several couples caravan south in our RVs to escape the harsh winter weather which seams to get worse the older we get. It is a time that we can relax after the busy holiday season and we can renew our close relationships with our friends.
