The process that began with a casual working relationship with band founding members Ryan Schuck and Amir Derakh has evolved to a professional athlete's type of training for the entire band and their associates, states Jarreau. Linkin Park earned two Grammy Awards, for "Best Hard Rock Performance" in 2002 with their hit single "Crawling", and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z in 2006 for the innovative "Numb/Encore". They have been blowing up Europe charts with #1 positioning of "Minutes To Midnight" and led by the single "What I've Done", and continue to top the Active Rock, Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock radio charts.
Julien-k will headline with Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM and Placebo for the summer tour of the year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to plug in our training systems with the not so typical client as the band preps for a rock star road tour across the country. With nutrition coaching, meal plan and body weight training for the tour schedule, the guys will keep the muscle they built in the pre-tour phase (almost like preparing an athlete for their on season). The long hours on the road with minimal training equipment will allow them to test the effectiveness of the commando workouts we put them through.
We condition them with our commando workouts, weight/core training, super cardio, sport yoga and positive/motivational techniques to reinforce the strategies on the tour.
